Wisconsin Rapids graduate and multi-sport athlete Brennan Huber is headed off to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where he’ll be playing baseball for the Pointers. We caught up with Huber to get an inside look at the Raider turned Pointer, with our world-famous interview, ‘Pancakes or Waffles?’  Read on to get the inside scoop …

OnFocus: What subjects/classes have been your favorite, and why?

Huber: Gym, because I get to be active.

OnFocus: What are your hobbies?

Huber: Baseball, lifting, and Pokemon Go

OnFocus: Who is/was your first favorite teacher and why?

Huber: Probably Mr. Biolo because he didn’t make me do anything on game days.

OnFocus: What is the most unusual food you have eaten?

Huber: I once ate Jon Russel’s steak and fry pizza. It tasted very interesting.

OnFocus: What is your favorite music to listen to?

Huber: The Lumineers

OnFocus: What are your plans after high school?

Huber: I am going to UWSP for Baseball

OnFocus: If they made a movie about you, and your life, what would it be called?

Huber: The Life of Brennan Huber

OnFocus: What sports did you play throughout your high school career?

Huber: Basketball, Football, Baseball

OnFocus: Which teammate would you not want to be stranded with on a deserted island?

Huber: Samuel Scheidegger…

OnFocus: What are some memorable moments you have had as an athlete?

Huber: Keagan Christy run blocking during 2 point conversions

OnFocus: Who are your favorite athletes and/or teams?

Huber: Cincinnati Bengals and Juan Soto

OnFocus: What do you enjoy most about competing in front of family, friends and fans?

Huber: I like being able to represent them when I am on the field. Knowing that I have their support makes playing sports a lot easier and much more rewarding.

OnFocus: Do you have a funny or unusual moment(s) you have experienced in sports?

Huber: Making lifelong friends

OnFocus: What words of wisdom can you give to other student-athletes?

Huber: Lift weights and study hard
