Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Takes Down Wausau West

Wausau (OnFocus) – Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln and Wausau West battled in WVC play, each with a different mission. Rapids looked for its first win, and the Warriors aimed for its 4th straight win to start the season. Rapids took control and picked up a 36-20 win, moving to 1-0 in the WVC.

Leo Brostowitz put Rapids on top  with a 6 yard run. West took an 8-7 second quarter lead when Colton Geurink scored on a 3 yard touchdown and two point conversion, their only lead of the game.

Rapids held a narrow edge over West in total yards gained, 276-258.

2021 Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Football Schedule

Brostowitz added four more touchdowns on runs of 14, 11, 34 and 9 yards for the Red Raiders.  Brostowitz collected 220 yards on 27 rushes to go along with his 5 touchdowns.
