WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (OnFocus) – The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, along with the help of their K9 Officer, Kubo, made a successful drug bust late last week.
The bust started as a traffic stop but quickly escalated in a situation where Kubo was needed.
As a result of the stop, one person was arrested and charges were referred to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office for possession with intent to deliver THC, Cocaine and MDMA.
The department credited the Wisconsin Rapids community in a Facebook post for help with the drug bust.
“It is thanks to our community who so generously donated to our WRPD K9 program that helps us get drugs off the street,” the post said.
