WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (OnFocus) – The creative minds of the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department were at work as they created a skit promoting their annual “Run With the Cops” event on Thursday, Oct. 7.
The skit featured multiple Wisconsin Police Officers arguing over who will have to run the race. Seniority comes into play as the more tenured officers devise a plan to trick the “rookie” into having to run the race.
The event will be held behind the Moravian Church at 310 1st Ave. in Wisconsin Rapids. The race will feature lights and sirens provided by the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department all while benefitting Special Olympics.
Parking remains at the Centralia Center on 220 3rd Ave #2, Wisconsin Rapids.
