Wisconsin Valley Conference Swim Meet Showcases Record-Breaking Performances

The Wisconsin Valley Conference Swim Meet delivered an electrifying night of competition, with swimmers showcasing exceptional talent, passion, and determination. The event featured record-breaking performances and remarkable team efforts, making it a thrilling spectacle for all in attendance.

Final Team Standings:

  1. Stevens Point Area High School – 430 points

  2. Marshfield – 324 points

  3. D.C. Everest – 304 points

  4. Wisconsin Rapids – 100 points

  5. Wausau East – 91 points

Among the standout teams of the night, Wisconsin Rapids demonstrated resilience and skill, earning podium finishes in multiple events. As Sectionals approach, the team looks forward to building on their successes and pushing their limits even further.

Wisconsin Rapids’ Top Performances:

The Wisconsin Rapids boys’ team secured an impressive eight podium finishes throughout the meet, highlighting the depth of their roster and their commitment to excellence. Notable relay performances included:

  • Varsity 200 Medley Relay – 5th Place Overall

    • Team Members: Josh Glenzer-Czenczek, Jose De La Cruz Chi, Brycen Henslin, David Lee

  • 400 Freestyle Relay – 6th Place Overall

    • Team Members: David Lee, Jathan Bessent, Josh Glenzer-Czenczek, Brycen Henslin

The entire team displayed remarkable effort and dedication, with each swimmer contributing to the overall success of the night. Their performance at the conference meet is a strong indicator of the excitement and competition to come at Sectionals.

Looking Ahead to Sectionals
