Wisconsin’s most in-demand sports teams revealed

• The Green Bay Packers are the most in-demand sports team in Wisconsin according to new research, with over 336,000 searches per month.
• The Milwaukee Brewers rank second, while the Milwaukee Bucks are third.
• Searches relating to EVERY Major League sports team in the U.S. were analyzed to discover the rankings.

New data has revealed the most in-demand sports teams in Wisconsin, with the Green Bay Packers topping the leaderboard.

Sports betting experts at Thelines.com analyzed Google search data over the last 12 months for all 125 Major League sports teams in the U.S. to find out which people were most desperate to see. Search terms included “where to buy [team] tickets,” “when is the next [team] game,” and “[team] game near me.”

1. Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers have an average of 336,020 searches. Competing in the NFL, the Green Bay Packers are a football team based in Wisconsin. They are the third-oldest franchise in the NFL and currently hold the record for the most wins in the league’s history.

2. Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers have an average of 283,811 searches. The Milwaukee Brewers are a baseball team based in Wisconsin. They compete in MLB as a member club of the National League Central Division. The team is one of two current MLB franchises to switch leagues in the modern era.

3. Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks have a monthly average of 167,088 searches per month. Based in Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bucks are a basketball team that competes in the NBA as part of the Central Division of the Eastern Conference. The team has won two championships since it was founded in 1968, most recently in 2021.

4. Chicago Cubs

The Chicago Cubs average 39,158 searches per month. A baseball team based in Illinois, the Chicago Cubs compete in MLB as a member of the National League Central Division. In 1907 and 1908, the Cubs won back-to-back championships, the first major league team to do so.

5. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears have an average of 26,557 searches per month. Established over 104 years ago, the Chicago Bears are a football team that compete in the NFL as a member club of the league’s NFC North Division. They have won nine league championships, including a Super Bowl in 1985.

Monthly average search volume data was taken based on searches between September 2023 and September 2024 to reveal the rankings for the most in demand sports team in every U.S. state.
