Wood County Notifies Residents of Two Sex Offender Releases

TOWN OF CARY, WI (OnFocus) – On 06/01/97, Wisconsin State Statute §301.45 – the Sex Offender Registration and Community Notification Law came into effect. Prior to this legislation, individuals similar to the one listed in this bulletin, were being released into communities with only law enforcement agencies being notified.

Based on this new law, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Department of Corrections and in conjunction with the Wood County Sex Offender Classification Review Team, is authorized to provide the following information to select areas of the community.

Based on this law, neighbors, schools, and businesses in the vicinity of the residence of this offender are being notified via this bulletin.

Effective February 27, 2024 the subject below will be residing at 11898 State Highway 73, town of Cary.

Offender Summary: Zinthefer has been designated as a Level 3 Sex Offender. This is the highest classification of notification level in so far as a potential threat or danger to the community at large. The criminal history involving the convictions of Zinthefer indicates he offended against minor, male strangers. Zinthefer will be residing at 11898 State Highway 73 in the town of Cary, Wood County WI.

He has a lifetime GPS monitor, which is in place.

In 1993, Keding was convicted of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a child in Wood County.

Offender Summary: Keding has been designated as a Level 3 Sex Offender. This is the highest classification of notification level in so far as a potential threat or danger to the community at large. The criminal history involving the convictions of Keding indicates he offended against minor males who were known to him .. Keding will be residing at 11898 State Highway 73 in the town of Cary, Wood County WI.

He has a lifetime GPS monitor, which is in place. Please note: State law forbids the harassment of released Sex Offenders.
