TOWNSHIP OF RUDOLPH, WI (OnFocus) – On December 2, 2024, at approximately 3:59 p.m., Wood County Central Dispatch received a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Trunk Highways C and S in the Township of Rudolph.

An SUV traveling westbound on CTH C was approaching CTH S when it collided with a northbound pickup truck on CTH S. The preliminary investigation indicates the pickup truck failed to yield the right-of-way, leading to the crash.

Both vehicles came to rest in the northwest ditch, with the SUV overturning onto its side. The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries. The driver of the SUV and two juvenile passengers suffered critical injuries.

Emergency response teams transported the injured individuals to Marshfield Medical Center. The two juvenile passengers, ages 6 and 15 months, were airlifted by helicopter, while the SUV driver was transported by ambulance.

As a result of the crash, CTH C, CTH S, and Zubella Road were closed for several hours. The incident remains under investigation.
