MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – On Tuesday, July 16 at 5:15pm, a vehicle struck a 12 year-old riding his bike at South Oak/Veterans Parkway in Marshfield. The vehicle was turning southbound onto South Oak Avenue from West Veterans Parkway, according to the report.
The 12 year-old male advised he had a green light and was in the crosswalk traveling northbound, while the back of his bicycle was struck and the vehicle continued southbound. The male and parents denied medical attention and photographs were taken of his abrasions.
The male advised he did not see who was driving and could only say the vehicle was a white-colored van or SUV.
