YUZU and Claudette Sariya Launch “Yuzu Summer Strong” Content Series to Promote Strength and Wellness Among Asian Women

New York, NY – June 17, 2024 – YUZU, the new dating and social app designed for the Asian community, is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest health and wellness initiative, the “Yuzu Summer Strong” content series. Partnering with celebrated fitness coach and influencer Claudette Sariya, this campaign aims to inspire and empower Asian women worldwide through engaging workout classes and wellness content.

Claudette Sariya, based in New York City, is a well-established fitness coach and personal trainer certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She also holds additional credentials as a Senior Fitness Specialist and a health coach certified by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). As a content creator and writer, Claudette has contributed fitness and wellness articles to renowned platforms such as Women’s Health, Men’s Health, VeryWell Fit, Livestrong, and The Everygirl. Claudette and Ellie Windham also co-founded “Asian Women Stay Running,” NYC’s First AANAPI Women’s Run Club, during which they aim to gather asian women from any level of running experience to go on runs every Sunday in NYC .

Starting June 17, the #YuzuSummerStrong series will feature three short videos led by Coach Claudette, encouraging the Yuzu community to be #YuzuSummerStrong. The series will share tips on achieving mental and physical health through exercise, fostering confidence, and promoting meaningful connections within the Yuzu community.

  • Episode 1: Full Body Strength

Kick off the summer with a full-body dumbbell workout designed to help you feel stronger and more energized. This four-move circuit includes:

  • Dumbbell Squat Thruster
  • Dumbbell Renegade Row
  • Dumbbell Reverse Lunge and Curl
  • Dumbbell Deadlift and Row

  • Episode 2: Core Crush

Build core strength and stability with a four-move weighted core workout:

  • Dumbbell Alternating Deadbugs
  • Dumbbell Weighted Leg Raises
  • Dumbbell Hollow Body Pullover
  • Dumbbell Straight Leg Crunches

  • Episode 3: Recovery Mode

Recharge with these essential stretches to help you recover post-workout or after a night out with friends:

  • World’s Greatest Stretch
  • Hip Flexor and Lat Stretch
  • Hamstring Stretch
  • Downward Dog and Calf Stretch
  • Cobra
  • Pigeon Pose
  • Shoulder Stretch

In addition to these episodes, Claudette will produce a variety of engaging social media content throughout the summer providing continuous inspiration and guidance to help the Yuzu community stay committed to their fitness and wellness goals.

To launch the campaign, Yuzu hosted a #YuzuSummerStrong workout event with Claudette at Mayweather Boxing + Fitness Tribeca. Co-hosted by Xiaoning, co-owner of Mayweather Tribeca, the event brought together some of NYC’s top influencers and fitness enthusiasts. Xiaoning, originally a classically trained pianist from China, pursued her passion for fitness and is now a co-owner of two Mayweather Boxing + Fitness franchises in NYC and Nashville. The event was a great success, with attendees participating in an energizing workout session and engaging in discussions about wellness and community building.
